2026 Comprehensive Plan

The City of Carlinville is seeking public feedback on the Carlinville Comprehensive Plan 2026 Update. This plan provides a long-term framework for guiding the community’s growth, development, infrastructure improvements, economic opportunities, public services, recreation, housing, and quality of life.

The updated plan builds on Carlinville’s existing strengths while identifying priorities for the future, including supporting local businesses, improving roads and utilities, expanding recreational opportunities, strengthening healthcare and senior services, encouraging tourism, and preserving the city’s small-town character.

Residents and community members are encouraged to review the full document and submit comments using the feedback form below. Feedback may be submitted anonymously and will be reviewed by the City after the public comment period has ended.
